There are some self-made billionaires on this list, but for the first time in 15 years they are all over 30. Yup, for the first time since 2009 there are no self-made billionaires under 30 (they all inherited their wealth). So, let's get into it...

Evan Spiegel (33)

Net Worth: $3.1 Billion

As a co-founder of Snapchat, Spiegel is one of the self-made billionaires on the list, a title he has held since he was 25. He currently serves as CEO of the company and owns about 25% of the stocks—along with fellow co-founder Bobby Murphy.

John Collison (33)

Net Worth: $7.2 Billion

Irish-born Collison sold his first company for $5 million when he was still in secondary school. A few years later (after dropping out of Harvard) he, and his brother Patrick founded the payment software company Stripe which was valued around $9 billion in 2016—making the then 26-year-old the youngest self-made billionaire in the world at the time.

Shunsaku Sagami (33)

Net Worth: $1.9 Billion

Yet another 33-year-old self-made billionaire on the list—Sagami launched M&A Research Institute Holdings in 2018 and became a billionaire in 2023.

Jonathan Kwok (32)

Net Worth: $2.4 Billion

Kwok is the youngest billionaire in Hong Kong—a title he earned thanks to his stake in the property development firm Sun Hung Kai Properties (a stake he inherited after the passing of his father in 2018).

Net Worth: $39.6 Billion

Red Bull doesn't just give you wings. If you're the son of the company's founder, it also gives you billions of dollars. When Dietrich Mateschitz passed in 2022, his son Mark inherited a 49% stake in the company.

Have you heard of GymShark? Well, Ben Francis co-founded the company with his friend Lewis Morgan, and he still owns 70% and is the CEO.

Fang and a couple other Stanford students founded DoorDash in 2013. The company went public in 2020.

Strnad's father turned his scrapyard business into the billion-dollar Czechoslovak Group defense producer. Michal took over the business when he was 27.

Net Worth: $2.3 Billion

Luckey built a VR headset when he was 16 and, in 2014, sold Oculus VR to Facebook for $2 billion. But that wasn't it for Luckey. In 2017, he founded Anduril—a defense technology company that, in 2022, was valued at $8.5 billion.

Gustav Magnar Witzøe (30)

Net Worth: $4.2 Billion

While SalMar might not ring any bells to folks in North America, the company is the second largest salmon farmer in the world and at 19 years old, Gustav was given almost half the company by his father.

Sophie Luise Fielmann (29)

Net Worth: $2.7 Billion

Entrepreneur Günther Fielmann passed away at the age of 84. He'd made his fortune providing cheap eyeglasses to the German people and when he passed, his fortune was split between his two kids. One of whom is Sophie Luise Fielmann, who doesn't work for the company in any way but has a nice 33% of the stock.
